Jordan Yarbrough

“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” Colossians 3:23

Jordan felt God’s call to the mission field from an early age and waited longingly for the time when she could answer. In the summer of 2005, while obtaining her nursing degree, Jordan took her first trip to Africa to work in a mission hospital and immediately knew that she had to return to Africa. In 2007, Jordan began meeting with the Angola Mission Team. God opened the doors of provision as she prayed and created a huge love in her heart for the beautiful people of Angola. God’s never-failing care and provision never cease to amaze her.

Jordan’s desire is to allow God to use the gifts He has given her to share with Angolans about the Jesus who can heal and save them. She looks forward to partnering with individuals in Angola to reach the community through health-care teaching and any other means God chooses.

One of Jordan’s passions is involving God’s people around the world in mission together. Each person that partners with her through financial support or prayer is a vital part of the work. Romans 10:13-15 states that a person cannot go unless there are others who send them. She is excited to facilitate ways for American Christians to encourage their Angolan brothers and sisters, partnering in prayer with them so that together they can give glory to God for His powerful answers. Please join Jordan in praying for Angola!

Jordan’s sending congregation is Little Rock Church in Little Rock, Arkansas.
