Our Core Values

We want our lives and ministry to be characterized by many things: love, patience, purity, etc.  But as our strategy has developed, we have noticed that five characteristics keep coming up.  These are our core values, and we want them to shape everything we do:

Our Core Values

In order for the body of Christ to function as God intends, the various members must work together. Therefore, we see ourselves as bridge-builders between Christians of different geographic, social, and theological backgrounds.

Acts 18:24-28

The Christian life is never a finished product, always a journey. We commit, at the strategic level and the personal level, to foster spiritual maturity in every aspect of life.

Ephesians 4:11-16; Hebrews 5:12-6:3

Christians care for the communities around them, because that’s what God does. We, and the Christians we mentor, will seek to meet the needs of others, whether physical, spiritual, emotional, economic, or relational.

Deuteronomy 10:17-19; Jeremiah 29:7

Spiritual growth occurs in the context of committed relationships, walking together to imitate God. In every aspect of life, Christians mentor other Christians while simultaneously being mentored.

1 Corinthians 11:1; Titus 2:3-5

The continuing growth of the Kingdom of God depends on continual reproduction at every level. Disciples make more disciples, leaders mentor new leaders, and churches plant new churches.

2 Timothy 2:2; Psalm 78:5-7
