In August, we had an excellent team meeting in Colorado. The whole team gathered in Colorado Springs to be with the Eastside Church of Christ there (Nathan’s sponsoring congregation), as well as Castle Rock Church of Christ (Robert’s home congregation). We made great progress towards several big decisions, such as choosing a home school curriculum for our children and selecting a formal team coach. We also waded through the murky waters of the Angolan visa process. I for one left the meeting realizing that the waiting time is over, it’s time to get busy packing and organizing!

After exhausting our brain juices, we spent some time just enjoying each other’s company at a Rocky’s baseball game (Robert’s favorite team) and Rocky Mountain National Park.
