Pray for the work in Angola

Pray these words of Scripture for the work being done in Angola.

Colossians 4:2-6 NIV

[I Pray for the Angola Mission Team and the Angolan Christians] that God may open a door for [their] message, so that [they] may proclaim the mystery of Christ… [I] Pray that [they] may proclaim it clearly, as [they] should. [Help them to] be wise in the way [they] act toward outsiders [and to] make the most of every opportunity. Let [their] conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that [they] may know how to answer everyone.

1 Thessalonians 1:5 NLT

[As the Angola Mission Team and the Angolan Christians bring] the Good News,…not only with words but also with power, [let] the Holy Spirit [give the people of Angola] full assurance that what [is] said [is] true. [Let people of Angola] know of [the Angola Mission Team’s and the Angolan Christian’s] concern for [them] from the way [they live]…

2 Thessalonians 3:1-3 NIV

[I] pray…that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored… And [I] pray that [The Angola Team and Angolan Christians] may be delivered from wicked and evil men, for not everyone has faith…Lord [You are] faithful, and [You] will strengthen and protect [them] from the evil one.

Colossians 1:9-14 NIV

Since the day we heard about [The Angolan Christians], we have not stopped praying for [them] and asking God to fill [them] with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. And we pray this in order that [they] may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to [You, Father], who has qualified [them] to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. For [you have] rescued us [all] from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

Ephesians 1:15-20 NLT

Ever since I first heard of [The Angolan Christians] strong faith in the Lord Jesus and [their] love for God’s people everywhere, I have not stopped thanking [You, God] for [them]. I [ask You,] God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give [the Angolan Christians] spiritual wisdom and insight so that [they] might grow in [their] knowledge of God. I pray that [the] hearts [of the Angolan people] will be flooded with light so that [they] can understand the confident hope [You have] given to those [You] called and the rich and glorious inheritance [You have]  given to [Your] holy people.

I also pray that [The Angolans] will understand the incredible greatness of [Your] power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at [Your] right hand in the heavenly realms.
