Pray for the Angolans

Pray these words of Scripture for the Angolan people:

From Colossians 2:2-3 NIV

[Let the Angolans be] encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

From 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 NIV

God,…count [the Angolans] worthy of [your] calling, and…by [your] power…fulfill every good purpose of [theirs] and every act prompted by [their] faith. We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in [them], and [them] in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 1:15-20 NLT

Ever since I first heard of [The Angolan Christians] strong faith in the Lord Jesus and [their] love for God’s people everywhere, I have not stopped thanking [You, God] for [them]. I [ask You,] God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give [the Angolan Christians] spiritual wisdom and insight so that [they] might grow in [their] knowledge of God. I pray that [the] hearts [of the Angolan people] will be flooded with light so that [they] can understand the confident hope [You have] given to those [You] called and the rich and glorious inheritance [You have]  given to [Your] holy people.

I also pray that [The Angolans] will understand the incredible greatness of [Your] power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at [Your] right hand in the heavenly realms.

From Ephesians 3:16-21 NLT

I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower [the Angolans] with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in [their] hearts as [they] trust in him. [so their] roots will grow down into [your] love and keep [them] strong. And may [the Angolans] have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep [your]love is. May [they] experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then [they] will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

Now all glory to [You God], who is able, through [your] mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.
