Angola Mission Team

At the end of 41 years of war, the country of Angola is entering a new season of peace and reconstruction. The conflict scattered people from their traditional homes and forced missionaries out of the country. Now that the war is over, Angola is developing faster than any other African nation, but millions still live in poverty. The combined effects of the prolonged war, western aid, rapid development, and desperately poor living conditions have left the people hungry for change and receptive to the Gospel.

We are a mission team preparing for long term mission work in Angola. God richly blessed our survey trip to Angola in June 2008, letting us glimpse how He is already working. We hope to move to Portugal for language study in early 2010 and finally to Angola at the end of that year. We would love to talk to you more about the opportunities in Angola. We are excited about God's work in this nation!

For printable introductions, download our Angola Fact Sheet or our Angola Mission Team Fact Sheet in PDF format. if you would like to see the report from our 2006 survey of Angola!
